<image:title>Exercise Videos - MB Toss Anti-Rotation in Hip Hinge Position</image:title>
<image:caption>This is a new patient demonstrating an exercise we tried with him today. He has disc issues, is 6'7" tall, and has been cleared for Marfan's syndrome. He works loading/unloading delivery trucks. One of the activities that he feels is necessary for efficiency is to bend over, grab items with one hand and toss them across his body from the back of the truck. Our goal here is to teach him to generate rotational/transverse forces through the shoulders and thoracic spine while in a bent over position--while maintaining lordosis. With proper performance patient was able to do this pain-free for at least one minute. Progression will center on getting the hands closer to the ground, decreasing time under tension and increasing the weight of the medicine ball to more closely approximate his work demands.</image:caption>

<image:title>Clients and Patients - A Simple Tweak to Enhance the Effectiveness of Single Leg Exercises</image:title>
<image:caption>Assume that the distance from the stance (right) hip joint to the 30 lbs kettlebell is 1x, and from the other kettlebell to the stance hip is 3x. That means that the difference in frontal plane torque is 60x lbs. (30 x 3x) - (30 x 1x) = 60x lbs If we increase the weight of the kettlebells to 80 lbs, now the difference in frontal plane torque is 160lbs, further increasing the demands on the hip abductors.</image:caption>

<image:caption>“This is incredible! Thank you so much. The report and the videos will be so helpful to have at my fingertips. I can't thank you enough for this great direction and instruction. I'm thrilled to have a PLAN and something to focus on that isn't going to exacerbate things.” So appreciative, Jim, thanks again Molly Huber</image:caption>
